Accepting What Arrives

"Facilitating abundance requires taking my foot off the brake pedal."

Got to figure it all out before it take place. Or worse, got to figure it all out so I can see how the abundance is coming to me.

Those perspectives and ones similar that seek some level of "understanding" to know how/what/when/where/why about that which I'm seeking ...... are all booby traps.

Why?

There is no trust or faith in those perspectives. Instead, I'm producing an expectation in what I want to happen, when in reality I have zero control of life - expect for one aspect - I always have control of my attitude.

When I start telling the gods and goddesses how to make my life work that is setting myself up for disappointment. By detailing my understanding and expecting things to fit into my perspective is shutting the door on spontaneity and personal freedom.

I see that we live in a culture where we expect things to happen over night. I call it a fast food mentality. As a country we are accustomed to getting fed in less than five minutes and used to hearing 30 second sound bytes while thinking we have all the news we need to be informed. We don't like lines for any reason, and we are so busy doing something we don't have time to talk to our neighbors or passersby.

That "hurry up" attitude cost us in terms of the quality of life. For sure, it is the fertilizer that grows discontent when we have all the good reasons for something to happen and then it never comes to be. The danger is when we get angry over the discontent instead of trying a different approach to creating what we are seeking.

I know abundance in everything is my divine right.

I am more free than ever before of the trap in having "to do" and "figure out" how that abundance will arrive.

A different approach I have learned to receive my goals and dreams is that I must be open, which means too that I must have my self aligned with accepting whatever comes to us with appreciation. More and more in the last few months and even weeks I'm having spectacular results in receiving beneficial items/events/people/relationships in my life. How? By feeling more and more appreciation and using less and less time to figure how how/when/where my goals and dreams will arrive.

This definite and defined positive turn in my life of being more open to expressing and recognizing my appreciation has led me to feeling better more frequently about myself. Don Juan talked about the "power place." Abraham talks about the "vortex." Whatever you want to call it, the key to getting inside of pure appreciation is enjoying life in the moment and having full faith and trust that your life in this moment is taking you where you need to go/be in order to accomplish your long term and short term dreams/goals.
